So, you just had to Google "BUGTUSSLE, ARKANSAS"............
You do watch TV don't you?
Well, did you know that the most famous mayor of Bugtussle, Arkansas
was Mayor Amos Wentworth Hogg? He was so famous that the
Hollywood actor James Westerfield played him on an episode of the
Beverly Hillbillies (see Season 5, Episode 17 which initially aired on
January 4, 1967).
In addition, many people mistakenly think that the Clampett family was from Bugtussle, Arkansas. However, the Clampetts (Jed Clampett, Elly May Clampett, Jethro Bodine and Daisy Moses "Granny") originally lived a few miles outside of the corporate limits of Bugtussle.
You do believe everything you hear and see on TV shows, don't you?
